I took my brand new 645Z out for its first ever spin tonight. The lens was a Pentax A 35mm f3.5
I have had the camera for over two months , but didn't yet have a lens until yesterday.
There is no other way to say this...….Im Completely Blown Away !
Im Speechless...…..In Shock !
I never knew what I had been missing since giving up my Mamiya RZ67ProII nearly 2 decades ago.
I looked at my very first converted raw file full size and simply couldn't believe what I was seeing.
Im just so happy over this I had to tell someone....:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Thanks TheDocAUS. I had made assumptions that I would be working in raw for as long as possible, so stacking multiple DNG into a single sounds like a good solution

I have coveted Digital Medium Format for the past 6 years. I shoot a lot of film and my digital camera is a Sony a99. I rented an a7rii last weekend with the hope that I would love it and i could use my Sony A-mount lenses on it. Once I had the camera in my hands it just did not feel like the camera for me. A couple years ago I rented a 645D for a shoot. I loved it and I have been in love with it ever since. When the Z came out I thought I would save my pennies up and purchase one. Prices on the D are now close to the prices on the Sony A7rii. I looked on EBAY and the lowest price was $2800.00 (Japan only) and they went as high as $4700.00. I looked at adorama for a used one with no luck and the new ones were on back order. Then I looked at B&H and found a brand new D for $3373.00. Well I bit the bullet and thought why save a few hundred on used when I can get a new one with warranty. My new 645D is on the way and I am very happy. I have three 67 lenses so I will slap an adaptor on and get shooting this weekend. I have a shoot Saturday and will use the new 645D. :):):)

I have been shooting with the 645Z for almost a year. I am always very inspired by all the artists in this thread, and I would like to share some of my work. These pictures were just taken this past weekend in Minnewaska and Mohonk Parks with the 150mm. I love this lens. I live in the Hudson Valley, NY. I am originally from Brazil.

I have posted this to the 645z Facebook group, but posting here as well. I have not had the chance to do full size prints from the 645z until now, and comparing them to my 645D prints, I must say that the extra bit of resolution helps with fine textures in the images, not like the 645D is a slouch in this regard when properly focused. The camera profiles I have used are curtesy of torger.
