Had a few days off work a few weeks ago, and decided to return for a walk along the banks of the River Dwyfor in Llanystumdwy (the walk starts right by the grave of the British Prime Minister, David Lloyd George 1916-1922, to date the only Welshman to have held the position of Prime Minister).
My aim was to get some autumnal colours, here's a selection.
All K5 and Sigma 18-50 TAV mode F11 & 0.8".

This is part of my daily (or nightly), dog walking route. Known locally as Dyffryn Mawr (roughly translated as large valley), it's a great example of a glaciated V-shaped valley.
It was very gloomy when these were taken, with the camera perched on a gate's pillar.
K5 and Sigma 18-50 and Cokin GND.

Some images taken from and around the beautiful village of Beddgelert, located within the Snowdonia National Park.
The lake is called Llyn Dinas (Dinas Lake), and is associated with the legend of King Arthur "Legend states the lake to have been the site of a battle between Owein, one of Arthur's greatest warriors, and a giant. According to legend, Vortigern is said to have hidden the throne of Britain beneath a great stone by Llyn Dinas"

Cwm Ystradllyn reservoir, and the nearby ruins of the old slate mill at Ynys y Pandy, lie a few miles outside the town of Porthmadog. Both are within the boundaries of the Snowdonia National Park.
1-4 from around the lake, last 4 around the old mill.
