I live in northern BC and travel throughout the west, I have whittled down my lenses to a 16-85wr and 55-300wr for travel..sometimes bringing a fast prime. The 16-85 is great for shooting in Vancouver, Seattle, Victoria, Rockies, etc. The 55-300 is great for the ride on the ferry, or shooting wildlife or the odd movie star from a distance hehe.
I am with the others on going WR here, there are so many different climates here, WR will cover the rain in the lower mainland, or the dusty deserts in Osoyoos.
Other than that, don't spend too much time with lots of lenses and changing lenses, and enjoy what BC and Washington has to offer 😊
Let me know if you plan on going to Northern BC. :)

Hello from Northern, BC, Canada.
I have been reading this forum for weeks now (along with others) to find the right camera for me. It came down to a nice white K-50. Picked up a nifty 50 the same day and have not put down the camera since. Wow, I tested 4 different cameras over a month, returned them all, this is a keeper. I want to thank everyone for input on the forums, it helped me chose the right camera.
Currently in sunny Mexico taking some nice shots, hope to post and share soon. :)
