So here I am with my 35 mm about a year old... And it fell apart. It's.like there is a piece missing off the front lens... Has anyone heard of this happening

At one time you could purchase these rings in a set of two and they were used to make your own filters out of black construction paper and the like... I remember using them for a soft focus filter with a pair of panty hose stretched across them.. With a hole in the middle.

There are only so many dumb questions I can ask... i can on site to learn about pentax ... random draws would make more sense... unless of course your intention is to draw information out of the knowledgeable

Well you did sound flip... i asked a question because I did not understand... not because I was stupid.. it's because I had no idea... If you are not on here to help in some way, share information or at least be entertaining you should just find yourself another site to share your bitterness... or learn to refrain from hitting the enter button...

It is interesting that a few have stated they like to be different.. or a contraian... I too step outside the box... not an ipnone user but prefer android... that sort of thing .. I guess its a common ground

can someone please advise about the back and front focus what exactly is it? and does it have to be calibrated for all lens or just third party lens

hmmm such beautiful photgraphy ! it should be encouraging me .. but I think I just might throw my camera away..i am so stuck on portature and i live in the borealis with northern lights every night... I need to get outside...-42 celsius tonight... ya know what i mean

on the tamaron 70 to 300 i would not drop the shutter speed much lower than 500 640 would even be better ... could be wrong but this is from what i have studied

i have never owned a battery grip but after reading a few posts , my curiousity has peaked... what are the bnefits of a grip? I just see making a small camera clumbsy... talk me into one.... also the latch plate what is that for

personally i find the iso very good at extremely high numbers as long as you have the right exposure. so for conrts the k5 is a beauty

I am curious as to why people choose pentax...
For me it was the best bang for the buck and my old lens from film cameras fit and work perefectly.. what about you

i know we are rare but when you go into a camera store they know you recognize a good quality camera and have many comments about being a smart camera purchaser,,, walmart and staples sell canons and nikon!!! real camera stores sell pentax. i was in a camera store once a the kid behind the counter sad oh a pentax, i only shoot nikon .. nikon all the way... and my answer was.. how many cameras have you owned? he said one ... and its a nikon... how the heck can anyone compared when they have never ever experience other cameras
