I have bought mine recently and dials shouldn't make noise, as you say suzook it is possible that the weather seal has not been fitted correctly. it should only feel a bit hard to rotate, no noise.
Guess better option is to take it a camera shop to see their professional opinion.

I have been reading a whole lot about the shutter release cable for my Pentax K50.
But there are so many different prices, though on the photo they look almost the same.
I would go to the cheapest one but don't want to end up buying another one.
Is there any anyone that can indicate me a good one, I would appreciate it.
Nowadays it is so difficult to buy something errrr

Hello Everyone,
Name's Nelson,
And quite happy to have bought my Pentax K50 =)
I have always had an interest in photography and finally managed to buy a "proper" camera ^^, and as result, it will be my new hobby to get me out of the house.
Hope to see you all around and some good threads.
