I went for a holiday with my friends at Sankarpur beach.There I was sitting on the pleasant warm sand and taking my friends pictures.Suddenly this fisherman passed through my frame.It looked like he was in a real hurry.I took the picture because there was a beautiful contrast between the tonal colors.But after I came home and started to process this picture I saw a different contrast which was more real.When I took this picture it was a rainy season.And while we were enjoying the pleasant weather of the sea this fisherman was going to get his boat ready for evenings catch in a stormy weather.

Yes i am currently at step 15..But I don't understand how the have gone from step 15 to 16??Did they do it by twisting it and if they did then which direction di the twist it?

I have done that too..i can only remove one lens element after that i cant find any cuts and still 3 element are inside the front portion.And the spot you see in 2nd picture it is not a cut set that can be moved..thats a broken spot

Hi Can any one tell me how to open Pentax-M 200mm F4..I am able to open the rear potion Of the lens But can not open the front side of this lens..
Pentax Lens Disassembly Database(Link Pentax M 200/4 repair - wiratama.net) had given how to open the rear side .It is not clear how to open front portion..Can any body Help??I am Unable to open rear portion mentioned in photo.

Hi I am interested in Sigma Zoom AF Aspherical IF D 28-105mm f/3.8-5.6 UC-III Lens..
In an online shopping site this lens is available..But it is said by the seller that Sigma Zoom AF Aspherical IF D 28-105mm f/3.8-5.6 UC-III Lens For Nikon..
Now I know Sigma Zoom AF Aspherical IF D 28-105mm f/3.8-5.6 UC-III Lens can be mounted on pentax k mount..

But I am not sure if Sigma makes the same lens for different camera mount differently..

Thank you Adam,Stevebrot,and the man with out name :)..I have checked what u guys had suggested and every thing is Ok..I can up and down lever manually with out any glitch or any hindrance..I discover the problem was with my lens aperture ring it was a very old lens therefore aperture blades are not smooth so when in great shutter speed it was not getting enough time to close due to stickiness..Thank you Adam I didn't know it kept the aperture always wide open unless you push the shutter button..That advice helped me a lot to figure this out..Thank You guys thank you very much..

I am using Pentax K10D with Pentax-M 50mm f1.4..
it was working smoothly but recently the aperture of the lens is wide open all the time even when my aperture is f22.
I had used diaphragm release couple of times continuously and after that my problem occurred..
Now my camera settings are
1-Using Aperture Ring option is- permitted
2-Green Boutton -program line
3- Preview mode -Optical preview..
Also My aperture actuator is in lowest position picture is given bellow..
Please help me to fix this problem..Thank you

I have tried CIF its easy but it gives very bad results during low aperture mainly at f1.4...I am very fond of bokeh that is why I let my aperture wide open..I have to take some portraits in high aperture to check it.. Thank you for your help..I rally appreciate it..

Your words are making quite sense..I am very fond of bokeh that is why I let my aperture wide open..Mainly 1.4..Next time I will take photos at larger aperture..I always had a feeling that my lens could have had haze that is why my pictures were all out of focus...But it it seems now the problem is in the individual focusing technique..Thanks a lot for your reply..

I will keep your points in my mind..I never uses narrower aperture I really liked the bokeh feeling but from now on I think I have to get used to narrow aperture...

I am using Pentax-M 50mm f1.4 on Pentax K-10D
I bought this lens(Pentax-M 50mm f1.4) 15 days ago..I am having problem with its focusing how much I try I am not getting the perfect focus..And many times there were ghost on the edge of the subject...I am clicking my shutter down when the subject is on focus in my viewfinder ,when I hear the beeping sound of focus of my camera and the red square in the middle of the viewfinder..I am not getting perfect sharpness or maybe this is the best sharpness that this lens can deliver I am not sure..
I am posting some pictures I have taken with best focus that I could..If any one using this lens with Pentax K10D please tell me if there is a way to get better sharpness and perfect focus.. And also please share if there is any better focusing techniques...Thank You...
