I've just spent the last half hour trouble shooting and found that I had left my battery grip turned on. With it turned off everything appears to be back to normal. Weird.

When I turn on my K-3 with the SMC Pentax-DA 1:3.5-6.3 18-250mm ED AL [IF] attached it begins to autofocus. As I move the camera around the autofocus kicks in. When I go to take a shot the AF symbol is lit in the viewfinder and the autofocus is locked. This problem has just started.
Can anyone suggest a solution before I ship it off to Ricoh?:(

This may seem like a stupid question but I cannot set the K-5 IIs to ISO 100. Any help would be much appreciated.

I took everyone's advice and checked everything again. I then copied the file to the K-5 IIs instead of the DCIM folder. It worked like a dream. Thanks for your input. I love this place!!!

I have followed the process for updating the firmware on my K-5 IIs but it will not load. I am connecting the camera to the computer to do it. Any suggestions?

Glad to finally join the forum. My wife currently uses the K200D and I am thinking of getting her the K-X as a back-up/extra camera. Do any of you see a true advantage of the K-X over the K200D?
