Dear Canadian Rockies,
Thank you for your support. I guess now all it is clear. The TAMRON lens does not have any contacts, so it is lear that the camera can not come in touch with the lens. In consequnence the camera displays "F -- ". Have a great day.

I do not know how I have to answer German or English. Well, I assume it would be best to write in English. So then both will be able to understand it well. I do not know whether you are aware that this is NOT an original PENTAX lens. Here we are talking about a TAMRON lens from the year 1980. This lens is fit with "AE" position represents the aperture of "32". However, it is not able to lock it in this position, as it is possible with the original PENTAX "A"-lenses. Does this make any difference?

Hallo Zusammen,
Ich komme aus der "analogen" Fotografie und bin nun auf "Digital" umgestiegen. Die optischen Reglen sind ja gleich, was die Einstellung der Zeit, Blende und ISO-Werte anbelangt. Nur hat man jetzt den Vorteil, dass man mit der ISO-Zahl auch variieren kann. Auch stelle ich immer noch gerne meine Werte von "Hand" ein.
Ich nenne eine Pentax K-5IIs zusammen mit einem 18 135 mm mein Eigen. Jetzt habe ich noch ein "altes" Tamron Objektiv (28 - 70 mm; 1:3,5 - 4,5) mit Pentax-Anschluss aus der analogen Zeit. (Das war die Ära von 28 - 70 mm plus 70 - 210 mm, damit deckt man ca. 90% aller Fotos ab).
Jedesmal, wenn ich mit diesem manuellen Objektiv die Kamera einschalte, dann fragt Sie mich: "Brennweite eingeben". Was muss ich hier einstellen, da es sich ja um ein Zoomobjektiv handelt? Muss ich eventuell an der Kameraeinstellung etwas ändern? Wer kann helfen, wer weiß Rat?
