Thanks for starting on this endeavour, i hope you and others can open up possibility of something similar to magic lantern for Pentax.
I cant offer much in the way of firmware hacking or the like, but i sent you £50 towards your goal.

Just after getting Cosinon 55mm f1.2 so still getting used to it . Keeping focus on moving objects aint easy..
Here is something a little easier..

I just received my Cosinon 55mm f1.2 lens and like it so far,
Here is my first proper shot with it at wide open
From more research, it seems that this lens is similar to porst 55mm f1.2, being similarly 'glowy'.
I might get a Pentax 50mm f1.2 to compare and see how much sharper it is.
Also, being a noob, i found how out, that getting good focus can be a bit of a challenge,
especially of non stationary felines (but i think this one was not too bad)..
