Looking to Purchase: 16-50

I am looking to purchase a Pentax DA* 16-50mm and was wondering what the weather resistant capabilities were, not to mention if there have been any problems etc that anyone has had. Is this a good lens for the hefty price or should I think about something else? I'm mainly looking for the focal range that it has, the SP (weather resistance?), the slightly-wider angle plus the 'prime' like shooting on the end of the zoom. If anyone has any thoughts, please do share! Any recommendations would be awesome as would opinions, etc. :) Thanks everyone!

Yes you can. The main camera body compartment is also a fairly large compartment so that would probably work, too.

So I'm for sure buying a new lens within the next month and a half, problem is is I am very undecided on which lens to purchase! I am very interested in both landscape photography, and close-up photography - portrait capabilities would also be a huge bonus (attempting to start up a business in photography).

It's between these two lenses here:

smc PENTAX D FA MACRO 100mm F2.8 WR

smc PENTAX DA Star 16-50mm F2.8 ED AL (IF) SDM

Currently I have a K-3 and the 18-135 WR and the DA 50mm 1.8. Both lenses are doing very basic jobs right now. I would very much like weather resistance in my lenses for the hobby side of photography.

Thanks everyone. :)

Recently picked up a Kata 3N1-20 DL. It's good so far however it's been too cold to do any long excursions with it. You can cross the straps across your chest though which I really like and you can mix up the compartments inside for 3 lenses and a ton of different accessories plus the camera body. Very comfortable. Good warranty, good price. Great style too if that matters at all to you and it has a rain cover included! Kata has a ton of backpacks and I've found they're all very "sturdy" padding wise, too.

Sigma EF-610 DG Super Flash + Pentax K-3

Will they work wirelessly together? Are they compatible? Is it worth it? Any tips? Anyone use these together? Thanks in advance!

New to using flash, new to Pentax as well! :)

Hey guys and girls and everyone else!

In the past 5 years of my life I've evolved from not knowing a thing about my Canon and not wanting to know a thing, to buying a Pentax and wanting to know about every little thing. That being said, I know very little about my Pentax K-3 because it was a very recent purchase (almost exactly 2 months ago!). I knew a ton more towards the end of the Canon's use which has helped me greatly in my Pentax-endeavors.

As cliche as this is for a photography/camera forum, photography is my passion. Photographing people, nature, landscapes, you name it - I love it. :)

As of now, I own an 18-135mm WR and a 50mm f1.8 (am I ever wishing THAT was WR). I am planning on buying more lenses, as my bag/case has a lot more space for improvement (as done my technique!)
