If your Sigma 50-500mm APO is OS (optical stabilization) version, you need to switch off either the OS on the lens or the OS on the camera, you can't use both OS together, this will give you some blurry picture which seems like out of focus.

just cut the shield to somewhat like the other lens on your photo and you will be good. (no need to have a perfect cut ).

Finally we have a new Pentax distributor in HK, the old distributor actually done nothing for Pentax and their web site have no Pentax update for several years.
At least the new distributor offer Pentax camera and lens ordering, (all my 3 new Pentax camera needed to order oversea in last several years !)
The K70 + DA 18-135mm package seems pretty attractive. Another point is all Ricoh GR camera listed as "NO inventory" . (The Pentax camera and lens have lead time for 3~4 wks due to electronic components shortage). https://www.lcp-sales.com/pentax

Since you are using the ExiftoolGUI, select a photo which you like to add the lens information, then click on the right 'workspace' button, (the blue one).
There is a 'lensModel' area (blue), click on it and you can enter your information in the yellow area on the bottom. Then click 'enter' and then 'the 'save' button on the right. Your lens information will then be save on the Metadata. You can input the same lens information on many photos by select them.

To me , the answer is none.
Getting a new / old lens is (research + expectation) Vs (money you pay), and in general , you got what you pay.
I just got a Olympus body cap lens for my M43 camera with $30, it was said its the worst lens on some of the review. and yes, the corner are burr like hell but I still feel good for its so portable and usable image in the center.

I have the Sigma 50-500 and yes, its a pretty heavy lens. However, the OS system on the lens make it still can do some hand held shooting. Its good on both my K5 and K1.
So I think it s/b good on K3 lll as well.
This is on my K5 years back.

What a collection ! I hope I can have the Voigtlander
Venus Laowa V-DX 60mm F2.8 Macro 2:1
USSR TRIAR-3 LENS 85mm f2.8 projector lens ,
Jupiter-9 MC 85mm f2.0,
Mir–38B 65 mm f/ 3.5 Lens
Mamiya Sekor C 70mm f2.8 E
Samyang 85mm F1.4 Aspherical IF
I have these in the 60~85mm, the Mir and Mamiya are medium format lens and as well as the projector lens, I need to use adapter, but I'm satisfy with the result.
And I have also the Pentax 110 70mm F2.8 for my Olympus M43, fun to use.

Got my1st DSLR - Pentax K5 in 2011. 2nd DSLR K30 in 2013 as the K5's spare. (K5 had some mirror flipping issue).
3rd DSLR K1 in 2016. The K30 had the aperture block issue since last year...... and tonight I got my 4th DSLR KP !!!
Just try a few shot in house with ISO 1600, and the difference between this and the last 2 APS-C camera is huge.
Its hard to decide to buy the new K3-III or a used KP in last few weeks but finally I pull the trigger because of the 2/3 price difference. Can't wait to take the KP out for some photos.:lol:

I didn't have 645 or 67 camera but had bought over 10 lenses for my K1 and K5 from Japan. Sure its more easy to find the gear in Japan as I believe they have the highest Pentax user %.
I usually find the gear on 'Yahoo Japan Auction' and so far so good. There is the rating of the seller on the page and I usually avoid seller with less than 98.5% positive rating.
Also I believe the description is pretty detail (overall appearance / optical performance / mechanical movement..) on most of the gears. Good Luck!

Hello,
I believe you had the answer already but just need some more noise to support, i said this because you don't have a particular request on your photos and everyone here can list a few good reason to stay with Pentax, as here is the Pentax forum. :)

when it comes to the dimensions of the mount, however the adapter will not fit. I clips into my camera just fine (F mount, Nikon D3200) but wont fit any of the lenses at all
Can you list the lenses which won't fit ? |

I have shot both Tamron 500mm (55BB) mirror and Ohnar 300mm mirror on my K1 and they both looks 'good' (sure the SR move more than the shorter lens) with the SR on K1.
I also shot the Sigma 50-500mm zoom on K1 which have the in-lens SR, you can feel the K1 SR move more than the in-lens SR. (I turn off either one) and through the
viewfinder, the view move more rapidly on K1 SR.

I had my French Bull dog suffer from seizure (~ once per month) since he was 2 years old until he pass away at 11 ~2 years ago. I did read many books and search on the web and also consult my vet in this period and understand there is no definite reason for dogs' seizure. They could cause by brain issue, tumour issue or just get it from its parent. My reading suggest to avoid the dog became too excit, (like strong flasing lights and voice) and depress so to minimize the chance of trigger the seizure, and this usually not happen immediately but hours or one day later. Also the threshold of a seizure happen will became lower and lower as the seizure happen more.
I shot many many photos on my dog and I never use the flash once I knew it may have the chance to cause his seizure. I just like to share my experience and my last post mentioned : While all the photos are very good, funny and lovely, taking photo with flash to the dogs in short distance (into their eyes) is NOT a good idea as this may trigger a seizure on the dogs !!
Thanks ---------- Post added 11-28-18 at 07:28 PM ----------
Some breed of dog will easier to have seizure issue and its easy to search on the web. IF you ever watch your dog get through that seizure period, you will not take the chance for that wonderful good photos with the flash. (just my opinion)
