Morning Delight by Aatif Sumar, on Flickr
I don't usually Square Crop but it seemed to make sense here. People have commented that the slanting out of focus line through the sun is distracting and should be removed in post-processing. Do you agree?

Thanks for those tips. Will keep them in mind. The picture was quite hard to correct. Was taken from a moviing train. The smudges are from the windows I took it through. Was a lot worse in the NEF. Will upload the NEF here in case anyone wants to have a go at it and see what best you can do.

Here are two B&W shots from a Vintage Car Rally. What works for you about them? What doesn't?

Thanks guys! How wide can Pentax cameras shoot? This needed a 10mm focal length (35mm equivalent would be 15mm)

Another morning shot. In The Shadows
The trees on the side seemed to be distracting from the subject, which is the tree and its shadows so tried a square crop too. However not too happy with it. In The Shadows Square
What do you think?

One Direction is a Myth
Interested in knowing your initial and secondary reaction to this long exposure. Shot as wide as I could to get both lanes of traffic in the frame.

Thanks for the variety of opinions and suggestions!
@kerrowdown after six days of working the grind, waking up while its dark to shoot the sunrise is almost therapeutic for me! Go home and crash till afternoon after.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
The problem with going wider is that the sun will appear even small if I do so.
@Sparkle Love your second take on it! Didn't realise the three on the left form this descending trio. Thanks for that!

All Eyes On The Sun
Here's a shot I captured during sunrise a couple of weekends ago. I kind of got what I was going for, but I'm not liking the end effect as much as I thought it would. How would you have taken the shot differently to make it stand out more? Had glass at focal lengths from 10mm to 200mm, and a tripod. What would you have done?
