I've not been using my K100D for a few months, as I tend to only use it for colour and I've been shooting only b/w over the winter. Then I remember, while reviewing some of the other cameras I've had over the last two or three years, that a few others are/were 6MP.
These were made with a FujiFilm FinePix F810 about a year ago. Very impressive lens and Super CCD sensor combo, if overall I found it a rather quirky and not particularly intuitive camera to use, with way too many buttons!

Shot on *istDL with vintage sears 80-200 fully manual telephoto lens.
With Pentax SMC DA 18-55 auto focusing kit lens. I don’t like this photo as much but I couldn’t pass up a shot with the lighthouse and moon.
They came out and look much better in black and white than color.

Boston skyline from Fan Pier Park. Focused slightly too closely but I liked the look of the dark pillar contrasting with the smooth water, and looking like it's holding up the city.

Although I've got a K-3 coming, I have no intention of completely retiring my K-100D. Thought I'd post a couple of pictures I took with the K-100D this summer when my husband I did some camping at Watkins Glen State Park. Watkins Glen is a step, short gorge with lots of waterfalls that flows into the southern end of Seneca Lake.
The gorge trail, which usually has heavy pedestrian traffic, goes right along the river and there are a couple of stone arch bridges that pass over the river. Both photos were taken on the gorge trail.

Great idea! My first DSLR was a Pentax *ist DS that I still own. Definitely will pop some AA batteries in there after scrolling through this discussion. Below one of my favourites that I took with this camera (2006, grand canyon):

I'm doing a fun little self-challenge to shoot with my $20 Pentax *ist DL and my $10 Pentax-M 50mm f2. Doesn't get much cheaper than that for digital SLR photography!
Fall colors in the park this evening:
Kinda messed up focus on this, but still like the composition.
My ride home :)

Probably my last Sigma 10-20 shots, I picked up a DA 12-24 and will likely use that instead. Anyone want a 10-20 for dirt dirt cheap prices? :D

My first post here with an actual image, some years after adding a post just so this thread would appear in the list of threads in which I'd participated...
I finally got the f/3.5 version though without a hood. I've had little time to play with it but had some decent results so far.
