Not to ruin your day, but where I live in china, it has been going for 4150RMB (669 dollars equivalent) for a while now. I'm just waiting for it to drop below the 650 dollar mark.

Just saying, there was 1 question on mirrorless out of the 15 questions they asked. I do not think this is an overkill to ask whether there would be another k-01 coming. I did not read anything that was overly biased against Pentax either, so hammering them is groundless.
Showerthought: If DPR made a review for the K-mount, it would end up as DPRK...

I think it would be nice that whoever contributes can enter the raffle... I mean everyone contributes their fair share to this community, and its not just limited to the top 10 posters (not saying that their contribution isn't the greatest). But in the end, everyone, please just enjoy the passion of posting everyone has around this month!

4gb!!! Are you sure you don't mean ram?
I don't use cloud because a) I'm in china, and services arent that great and b) its too inconvenient, especially when you can't access it when you really need it. If I were in the US, this would probably be a more enticing option.

Would love to have those lenses. But at the same time i feel that my skills aren't up to par and they'd show their true potential in better hands... So I tip my hat to you, good sir!
That 77mm looks like it'll fit snuggly in my bag too!

Its worse with glasses on I think. I'm a left eye, and the buttons aren't a problem. Its the glasses that bothers me.

Perhaps not the most convincing reason, but I got into photography because I want to take pictures of what I see. To take pictures that capture the heat of the moment. The kit isn't enough to sate my hunger anymore. I want MOAR!!! Savour the moments of superb qualities, amazing composition and considerable depth!!!
Pictures which can tell my story. Although my skills may not compare to the Monthly competition Pentaxians, I will improve. After all, 50mm is a great beginner's portrait lens (I think?). I shall catch up to all of you! Yes, you Pentaxians, whose photography skills are so pro that I have no idea how you shot those pictures (still reading those "The Making of --" guides. Really help).
I think that's what the Nifty Fifty means for me. A lens that'll lead me further into this trodden path of upgraditis (LBA? That's what you call it here?) and addiction. And more pictures. And more pictures. Oh and did i mention? More pictures.

This was a photo I took of my friend during a group meet and I thought it turned out pretty well. At least she liked it. Makes me think, taking pictures is really fun. I hope people can understand my drive.
P.S and of course, because as a student, its always about saving money. If I could only get my hands on this lens..
