Early Sunday morning walk in the village can sometimes be surprising - just cought this little 'glowing little tree' at a perfect moment, as the sunlight brightened it up to tell me: "hey, look here"

This image was taken with my K200D - I never had any chance again to come so close to a Rainspider (Palystes superciliosus) and her cocoon, feeding her brood. They had been just a few days old and already changed clothes to leave the home ;-) She actually was very aggressive during the first days until they where hatched.

somewhere between Rundu and Grootfontain up north in Namibia this young mom was selling handmade products next to the road and I've asked her, if she is fine taking a photograph from her.

It was one of the mornings in the South African winter where I thought it might probably be worth it to go out there ....... and it was : breathtaking ! The image was taken from the edge of a dam with the Langeberg Mountain range in the back.
