Thank you for the welcome. I will slowly figure out how to work this thing, so I am giving a answer to most of the welcome posts.
I see a Ballard person from my area. I am near Gig Harbor. Birds, fish, wildlife, and flowers.
I also saw a post from the Highlands. I claim a distant relationship to the Rose Clan. Kilt and all.
I have the K-50, fairly new to me. I enjoyed the K-10, but it is currently out of action.
I was leaning toward the Sigma 150-500 I know it is a little slow, but it can be worked into the budget.
I was able to get up to Skagit Valley on Monday for family business, but I freed some time in to go to the tulip fields. I was happy with how the polarizer worked, but disappointed with some of my framing, and points of focus. Still on a learning curve with camera, and fading eyes.

Hi,
I just joined. Got tired of weeding through N, C, O, posts on general forums to find Pentax related posts.
I have been a Pentax user since. The 1970's. And just like the feel and layout of the controls. I have used other brands, but continued to like Pentax best.
I shoot for fun, and anything that interests me. Birds, flowers , scenery. I have equipment for close ups but am now seeking a long lens. More than 300 mm. I have an eagle near in the fall and a blue heron at other times. Also like most other people here in Western Washington, Bill Gates is not related so I have a small retired persons budget.
