YongNuo wireless remote ?

Well I got the shutter to fire. Evidently I didn't have the plug on the receiver pushed in far enough but now it doesn't seem to focus at the half way button push but the shutter fire at full button push.
I will try it out tomorrow. The light is always flashing while in remote that is distracting. I don't know of any way of turning that off. I could put a piece of black tape on the front light I guess. I want to take a picture of a bird by the nest. I will be seventy feet away.

I wonder if anyone else has this set up?

I have the YongNuo wireless remote and my question is what settings to trigger the shutter. The settings right now are as it can in the box. I have a K10d.
When pressing the transmitter button the camera focuses but the shutter does not trip. Any one who has this remote what channel do you use ? Also a question will it focus and release the shutter?
Any information will be appreciated Thank you.:)

Help with soft box

The soft box is together. Frustrating is a good word to express the experience. Not wishing to break some thing and after a tiring day to come home and put it together. The rods were indeed stiff.

Thankfully I did not do the bow and arrow trick. hee hee

That's cause left-handed people are evil - they shouldn't be allowed to do anything with their evil left hands of evil.....

Research has shown left handers are more creative. Therefor creative photgraphers are evil. Hmmmmm Looking at you though the view finder with my left eye.;)

Borno, Very neat idea. You mentioned not being happy with the roughness of the welds. 3M makes a buffing wheel that works great on stainless and carbon welds. You should be able to get one at any welding supply store. Even some hardware stores. A little black primer paint, wow.

I would send you one but the shipping would be more than what you can buy one.

After doing considerable research , I settled on Hp Photosmart 8750

The deciding factor was professional Photographers who had experience with much more expensive printers giving it high marks.

I have been pleased with the tonal quality I get from prints. This seemed to be the large format printer that gave the most bang for the bucks.

Georg, I am using the lens but still learning. It's a new experience having 5.5 lb out in front of the camera. I have been keeping a mono pod on it. I shot a eagle today at 1/4 mi . A little too far for a good picture but I was surprised at what I did get.
When I get posting pictures down I'll post a few samples.

Gawan, I ordered it from Adorama it was shipped the same day UPS It got to Milwaukee and it sat there all weekend and Mon. I expect it on Tues.

I saw your pictures and a few others. That was a tipping point. I also like the fact it is a faster lens than some other zooms. I can not always depend on the sun.

When I fill up the piggy bank again I intend to get a TC. Which one ? Not known yet.

My name is Pete. I am Amateur Photographer. I purchased a K10d about a year ago. I like it very much. Before that I had a sony point and shoot. 4.1 megpix I bought that for a special event. I started with digital with a Sony Handy Cam which was 2 megpix. Once I got in to digital my Nikon film camera has gathered a lot of dust.

I live in a rural area so my photo's reflect that. One thing I found is you never can have long enough lenses. I usually don't edit my photo's although I have the software to do it. I guess that will be something I will have to get up to speed on. My newest addition because my photo printer died is a wide format printer. Hp Photosmart 8750 I did as much research to find that printer as I did before I bought my K10d. The net is a wonderful thing if you live in the booney's

I found this site because because I was looking for something. It looks like the place to be.:D

Pete
