Thanks, Lucan, for clarifying the two forms of the Adapter F. I have not seen a photo of the bottom of the "off-camera" version, only the one with pins on the bottom.
There was a bus company in NYC that ran two different routes to NJ using the same router number.

The adjustable clamping could work (it eliminates the stress of crowding the foot of the flash into the shoe on top of insulating tape). But have you seen a similar device with a blank foot on the bottom?
Maybe there's a cold shoe that's insulated so it doesn't short the contacts on the foot of the flash?

The three reviews on this site of hot shoe adapters don't include one that allows a hot-shoe TTL flash (400ftz etc.) to mount on a cold shoe and connect to the camera (P67ii) via the P5 cable. Is there such a device? I can't locate one after considerable web searching. The flash doesn't operate when inserted in a cold shoe, so I add electrical tape. But the tape makes for a very tight fit, and strains the base of the flash as I insert and remove it. The wood handle with the hot she seems more expensive and bulkier than the job requires.
Thanks.

Wouldn't it be great if down the line a model would take 120 film and the 67ii lenses! My 67ii bodies are ageing, as am I. Hope the cameras last at least as long as I do :-)

Thank you.
The shot tower, located in a corner of the "Field of War" was used to make cannon balls and small "shot" for muskets. Pouring molten lead from a height gives the liquid time to form into a sphere (surface tension) and cool to a solid before landing in a water bath. I can only imagine how they controlled for size of the shot pieces :-)

Shot on film in a single exposure--NOT a composite image. Printed by enlargement on silver-gelatin paper then photographed to a digital file. The stone "Shot Tower" is almost entirely hidden by summer foliage and missed by most visitors. This photo was taken in late November.
Error correction: shot with 55 mm lens.

I have this lens and love it. Most of my architectural shots use it, and many of my landscapes. Of course, I'm sticking with film.

First time submitting to the photo contest. Uploaded the image after posting the message. Going back to the entry page, it said I have an entry for this month, can't submit again. The picture is there someplace :-)

November in Paris, bare trees revealed a stone "shot tower" that's hidden during the summer. Had to walk on the grass (violating the warning signs) but was careful not to damage anything. Very wide angle lens helped with depth of field and reducing the convergence of verticals. Silver-gelatin 16x20 inch print from the 6x7 cm negative; copied with a digital camera to make this file. |

Hello from Northern Virginia, where I keep a darkroom set up for prints as large as 20x24 inches. I hope to stay with silver-based images, and will as long as the materials are available.
To that end I offer to help others set up darkrooms. On request, one of my sever spare enlargers is available for free to furnish a new darkroom.
Best to all, including digital shooters :-)
