I really like the frame, it has something about it that caught my eye. Maybe the reflexion, I don't know, but it inspires calm.
Photographically-wise, I have nothing to complain about, I really like the photo.
I would have liked something else on that gray wall instead of that wall socket, but there's nothing you could have done about that.
Nice shot, keep up the good work!

You did a really great job, I really like how you got the light trails. Maybe it would have been even better if you got more light trails, but that would have been possible later, when the natural light would've been weaker.
One thing bothers me a bit, from a compositional point of view: the light bulbs in the upper left attract a bit too much attention, but that can be fixed with a bit of crop. Great job, keep it up!

Picture was taken on a bridge over a river, by literally putting the Pentax K-500 camera on the bridge floor. A little amount of luck was needed, to not have any pedestrians cross the bridge, as that would have led to vibrations and ultimately, a ruined photo.

I recently bought a K-500 together with 18-55 kit lens. I like it, already went over the limits that the other (older) camera set, but there is an aspect related to it that can sometimes be annoying: it has some "sleep" mode, in which it enters immediately after I take a shot, or a few seconds after I navigated through the menus/taken shots. In this "sleep" mode, the display is turned off, and also the info which is displayed in the viewfinder when taking photos, is not shown. So it enters in this mode only when it is in standby mode, with the screen active, displaying shot parameters. It exits the sleep mode at any button press, or shutter half-press. I didn't find any setting for disabling this "feature". How could I get rid of it? A firmware update, maybe (it has have firmware 1.00)? I don't know yet if there is any warranty void because of this. Even with Auto Power Off set to Off, this still occurs. Ideas?

Thanks! I knew there is an adapter for the M42, which is used by that Helios-44-2 (I remembered the name of the lens)
P&S can sometimes be fun, despite the lack of image quality and partial manual control, especially when it manages to deliver results that were, in a good way, unexpected.

Hi all! Although I still use a P&S camera, and I don't have a Pentax, I played quite a lot with Pentax K200D and K50, with various lenses, including kit, 55-200mm tele, and some primes; also played a bit with some entry-level Canikons. Another interesting camera I took shots with is a Zenit E SLR with a 58mm F2 lens.
I know that the P&S camera I have is very limiting, I feel it on my own. There is a while since I want to buy a Pentax entry-level DSLR, and not Canikon, since it destroys them at this level  .
At this moment, if it would be to buy a DSLR, it would be a K500 kit. I read a lot about it, also here on PentaxForums, and after the experience with K50, I think it would suit me well.
Hopefully sometime in the not far future I will be able to post some shots taken with my (future) Pentax. :)
Have a good day, and good light to reach your lenses and sensors!
