Because it can't enter the slot or however it is called. It gets blocked with the pentaprism on top of the camera.

Well, just to make it clear, the Yongnou YN560 IV, doesn't fit on the Pentax K3 II. I tried it and it's impossible. Only with a trigger.

I agree with you, find it also suspicious that such a good camera isn't mentioned so much. Like you say it is in oblivion.

Hi, very interesting thread
What I like from vintage lenses is that it plays with imperfection but with quality. In this world with super cameras where it can do many things and full of perfection a bit of imperfection, chaos and accidents are welcome.
So, for me these variations are welcome.
