I think they are beautiful, does it really matters if the image is 100% correct from technical point of view?? Do you love someone because it's a perfect person or you just love that person because it's perfect in your eyes?

This is something I will check for sure ,sounds like a very convenient and clever option.I have EV steps set at 1/3 but I didn't know that I can use AE-L button like you described. It is very helpful advice .I guess now I just have to wait for warmer days so I can go out and try how it works .Thank you

I am trying to shoot some birds and other moving subjects with my two lenses F*300 mm f4.5 and A*200mm f2.8 What will be best camera setting if i want to control shutter speed ? I have it set to manual mode and adjusting aperture manually ,If i am trying TAv I can't set the shutter speed where I want it.Also in manual mode when I set speed to let say 1/1000 and I press green buton it automaticly bring it way down if I don't bump the iso high enough ..I do understand it is normal but what is the way to quickly adjust fast shutter speed with these lenses and iso to go with it and be close as far as light go so the image is not too bright or too dark..I hope someone can explain to me how to do it correctly so I can take more and better pics .

Thank you all for getting back to me so quickly.I think I'll try with my 50 and see what I can get .DA 50 is pretty affordable Maybe it's not a bad idea to buy one and compare manual/auto focus for portraits. You guys know better.I think like clackers said skills is what I need most at this point.

I am going to try some portrait work soon so i start looking for a new lens.I have Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 on my mind but i am not sure it's the best choice.I am looking for best image quality i can get without spending another $1000.I don't mind manual focus, the other lens I already have and want to try is M 50mm f/1.7 Is it good idea to use these lenses with k5II for portraits??Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thank you all for welcoming me.I have to say that I already learned a lot from this forum .I am starting from scratch.Bought my camera with kit lens 18-55 mm AL WR .Then after reading some reviews I jumped on those metal primes .Kit lens is no longer with me.I like to shoot birds probably because they challenging me so much.Long way ahead ...I will try to keep my eyes open and shutter hot ;)
