Thank you all for the answers.
I have the flu card but I find it rather slow to work with.
Unfortunately as I can see, Pentax cameras cannot connect to smartphones like cannon and nikon, where there are number of ways to achieve that

Hello everyone,
Is there a way to connect the K3 to a mobile phone or an external monitor for live view?
Something to replace the small camera screen.
I can't find what cable i must have to do it

Hi,
I've read that there is a SD card for K-3 which allow the camera to be fully controlled from a smartphone. Is there anything similar for K-50 or any other way which can be connected? ---------- Post added 07-23-14 at 11:57 AM ---------- This is the card for K-3 |

Hello everyone,
I'm watching a lot of photography tutorials (foe beginners) and many times came up the issue of lens hoods.
I have a K-50 and 2 lenses.The 18-55mm WR Kitand a SMC Pentax-DA 50mm f/1.8
I'm a bit of confused... Do i need to buy hoods for both of my lenses? What exactly hood should i buy? They say every lens must wear his own hood or you might see the shadow in your photos.

From my first trip with my new K 50 in London, i wanted to capture a real "british" moment.
Nothing tourist like Big Ben but something from the everyday life.
In an afternoon at Regent Park i found exactly what i was looking for.
Cloudy british weather, stunning colors of english nature, great view of entire London and this fine gentleman who looks like he came from an old english painting.

Crime ahead has a point.
I am new member to this forum but i have been a veteran member to other forums (mostly about graphic design and tech forums..) and every time a nominating contest begin it appears the same problem.
A good solution (that is used in many forums) is that only administrations and veteran members can nominate the entries.

Hi to everyone.
I bought a k-50 two weeks ago with the kit 18-55mm and a smc DA 50mm and of course i am still learning the basics.
My question is (... maybe it's dumb): I'm going to a trip to London next week and i don't know which lens should i use to take "transitional" holiday photos... The 18-55 has zoom and is quite wide but the 50mm has better quality..
Any tips?
Please keep it as simple as possible :)
Thank you

Hi to everyone!
I'm a new member of this forum and a recent owner of a K-50.
I want to make my first steps to macro photography but i can't afford another lens right now.
I have the kit lens 18-55mm and the smc DA 50mm F1.8.
Is there any way i can reverse one of these lenses (or both?). I saw they sell some adapters for these purpose but i don't know exacly what to do...
Any suggestions?
(Apologies for my English)
Thanks
