I would love to buy additional lenses for my K10D, but there are now absolutely no brick and mortar stores within hundreds of miles of my home selling pentax gear. The few stores that existed have closed their doors. Remaining stores carry mainly Canon. I want Pentax. Until online prices for Pentax lenses reach the reasonable level I will postpone purchasing lenses. My last lens purchase was a Tamron.

Look on the Adray Camera website (www.adraycamera.com)- they have an online newsletter a few times a year and it also lists photography events and camera clubs in the Detroit area.

I am also a new member from January 2008 and I never found the time to introduce myself. I am from Michigan and I bought my K10D a year ago. I've had a K1000 since the 80's and the K10D has amazed me. I love using it and I am learning Photoshop. When I started taking photography classes with the K1000 I was definitely in the minority (very few shoot film anymore) plus most other students choose Canon or Nikon. Thanks for a great site!
