This picture was taken on the south margin of Tagus River, in a place called Cacilhas having has background the city of Lisbon. It was before lunch time and this two old men were fishing on an old pier, the fishing ended wythout luke or lunch. :)

I Love the image, itīs nice to see something from my country! eheh
Besyde that, i think itīs well worked, the black and white is there, and the Yellow doesn't absorbe all the atention.

The last option is in deed the best one, i'm almost going on vacation and i'm really tempted going to Spain, in Portugal there are excelente (retired) camera experts, but the problema is getting the parts, if there are need of them.
I've tested all the possibliities, and with a good battery, fully charged i had the same problem as with the others, i would love to have a second body working.
I tought of disassembling the body myself and trying to find what's the problem, but that's in fact the worst idea of all!!!
I will find the problem, with the help, of an expert, and after that i will tell you all what was the problem!!!

Unfortunatelly, the K10D does not use AA type batteries.
But i can check the voltage before and after putting them on the camera and see if there is a diference...i supose...

Yes i know that, and i suspect tha two of them are really gone, but the third one, is new my friend bought it after the problem happened...

Well, there must be something wrong, with the camera, since i've cleaned it up, i charged the battery and seames to be ok.
The dilema now is what to do with the camera since there is no Pentax representative in Portugal, the nearest is in Spain.
My friend the camera owner, is thinking about trowing it away.
For me, it should be fixed, if only the where a type of list of errors, i was thinking about opening it up and try fixing it my self... i just don't know,...

Thanks, in fact the only battery that seems to be working well is a third party one.
The originals, when i put them on the charger, the red light turns on for a second and then it goes off!
Well i'm going to start cleaning the camera right know and than i will return to teel you guys the veredict!!!

I'll try cleaning the battery contacts on the camera and see what happens, because going to a repair shop for Pentax in Portugal, isn't possible because there are none...

Hello There!!
A friend of mine has a K10D, bought in new 4 years. For about the last 6 months has been stoped. He picked it up, pressed "on" and nothing...
The only thing is a empty battery sign flashing...we tryed to charge the batteries full, he has 3, so 2 of them where inserted on the charger, it flashes the red light and shuts down. The third one, charges full for about, six hours, it's new, so we inserted it on the camera and the same thing happens, the empty battery symbol flashes and nothing else happens...
Can anyone help me and a friend out?? Please!!!

Photo taken last summer, in a small town called Lagos, in Portugal, which used to be a even smaller fisherman village, it has nice beaches and a blasting sun!!!

I have a Pentax 645, and i would like to use my flash Metz 40mz 3i with it and i know that i have the wrong sca (3101), so i've searched the net for answers, and all i got was more questions.
Question #1: Which is the right SCA for Pentax 645?
Question #2: Is it still available, and if so where can i get it?
