I also had the flash pin problem. I was able to remove the screws around the bottom of the flash, above the hot shoe mount portion, and then access the lever to pull the pin up to free it from camera.

While it will fit in the slingshot 200AW (horizontally across the whole bottom) it is a tight fit. So, I searched around for other options.
Here is what I ended up with:
Domke F-5XC
K20D with a Sigma 17-70 mounted, a Sigma 10-20 stuck into the half the bottom with the rocket blower behind it, and a Sigma 100-300 standing upright on the other half from bottom to top. The wired remote, extra battery, flash media case are stuffed into the little pockets (I wish they had a flap on them).
The lower flap is 3 inches tall and 9 inches wide at the bottom. The sides taper inwards so the width is 8 inches at the turn to horizontal on the zipper.

Even the first image exhibits the hexagons albeit fainter. I think it may be reflections from the highlights on the eyes (similar shape). This is an older lens without the newer digital coatings. I have seen similar reflections with an old A70-210. Perhaps the structure of the eye provides different reflections and that is your spots. ??

I was fortunate and caught this lens on sale through Amazon the last part of January 2009. Total with shipping: $797.87 This wasn't the lowest price I saw but it bounced back up and then came back down and I caught it. I just checked and it is listed over $1300 on Amazon. Wow.

I was agreeing with Parallax that it appears you are a Troll (a rather adept one at that).

It's no limited lens, however it isn't priced like one. A few more photos from this lens can be seen at http://www.pbase.com/nnmo/fa_100_300_f4_7_5_8 |

Thanks. Perhaps I went too far for dark and moody.
Thanks for the comment.

I noticed this on the old car as well and decided to ask.... Do you dodge/burn in addition to what the HDR software does? I see halos around the boys head in this photo and the other photo showed similar halos in the sky.
Thanks for sharing,

Thanks for sharing a bit of history. I know where Marshall Junction is and have been to Arrow Rock although it was quite a while ago.

These were taken in Callaway County along the north outer road of I-70 (old U.S. 40) near Kingdom City. Some day I want to revisit old U.S. 40 to the west of Columbia.

Thanks as well. I wasn't aware of Walker Evans so I did some searching. I found the information and his photos interesting.

Thanks Sean,
It is a single shot but did have quite a bit of tweaking trying to bring out the sky.
Thank you. There is another one that is in rather sad repair. That one prompted me to drive up and try to capture them however I was not happy with my shots of the other service station.
Thanks Will,
That was my goal.
