lens suddenly has focusing issues

sorry, I'll take some pictures when I get home later tonight

I've only noticed the problem with the tammy, even on manual focus it's doing the same thing.
my kit lens focuses well and so is my M 50mm 1.7

don't know what the actual problem with the lens is, hopefully I can still get it fixed :) because its my fave lens :(

hi guys,

one of my lens, tamron 28-75, suddenly has focusing issues :(
I've been using it for a while now with no problem but a few weeks ago when I was going to use it, I've noticed that it won't focus properly, like a front/back focus issue (don't know which :p)

I'll post some pictures later

but any suggestions on what I can do to fix it? or where I can send to get it fixed?
I'm not the original owner of the lens and I know that its a few years old now.

Thanks! :)

AA batteries in K-r - how many shots?

yes, you don't need rechargeable AAs
but you may want to use lithium batteries as others would just drain quickly

and you would need an adapter before you can use AA batteries on the k-r

anyone have experience with YN 460 or 460-II Flash with a K-x?

I don't have a K-x nor a YN 460

but I do own a YN 560 and I use it with my K100D Super

I really like the performance though it only fires up to 1/160 shutter speed; I know it fires up to 1/200 on a K10D so maybe it would do the same on a K-x

It's plenty powerful, has a fast reload time and the controls are easy enough to configure

I heard that the 460II has only slightly lesser power than the 560, some had complaints about its buttons too

both get very good reviews here

i think the DA* 16-50mm has some QC issues, but if you get a good copy you wont have any issues

i would get the tammy 17-50 because of the price

the weather-sealing on the 16-50 won't benefit much since the k100d super is not weather sealed

Poll: Who uses the Auto Focus button?

i want to use the AF button but since I only have a K100d S I have to use the OK button
and the position of the OK button is a bit awkward to press for me as oppose to the position of the AF button in the k10d or k20d

try clicking the right arrow and see if the red dot moves to the right
or elsewhere and see if it moves to that direction

you can use your flash as a AF assist lamp
then once your subject is in focus, just lower back the flash
