It may seem like a silly question, but how do you find out if the EXIF data is still intact.

Glass or Glassless

We are now going to reprint all our old photos (not old as such but were printed on old printers) for our up and coming exhibition on newly purchased printers, ( my son was so impressed with with the quality he duly bought one too) Epson Stylus Photo R285 (A4), we find it very easy to use, very economical on inks (inks cheap too) and the quality has far surpassed my expectations (well my old printer was 7yrs old ), now can i ask a bit of advice.....A friend recently had a exhibition in our local cathedral and mounted all his photos in frames with the normal mountboard borders but removed the glass to stop excess reflection, as the paper used was high gloss i and many others thought it was glass, any comments on whether glass or glassless, i have given it a lot of thought, but thoughts of others may help me make up my mind , on the website front things are doing very well with good feedback from all over.

Remote control

I have a Pentax *ist DL, does anybody have any idea how much a remote control is for this camera, i want to get closer to a bird feeding station for some close-ups, but understand (if i have read the manual right) that the sensor has to face towards me to trigger it, or have i got it all wrong and need something different, or do i need a wireless one which can be triggered from any angle irrespective of which way the camera is pointing, if so where and how much ( i am in the UK), any help please.

Thanks

Wartime Bunker

This was taken on a beach at North Norfolk UK, for those who are not sure what it is, its a Wartime Military Bunker, built to defend the North coast of Norfolk in World War 2, this bunker was more than likely a lot further inland than it is today, it moves every year due to coastal erosion, the photo was taken in colour but it looked bland and boring, so i converted it to mono, added noise and contrast and blurred the edges... i think it gives a bit of atmosphere to the picture.

Yes ...These Steam days cover all sorts of Themes.....Wartime where everything and everybody is styled on the 1940s Britain, General Loco Days etc, the original was colour but it was bland and no atmoshere.
It was taken at a place known locally as the Poppy Line...
