My best find was a few years ago now. Back when I used a K10. In a second hand store I found a M35/2, M135/2.5 a d a M200/4. All we're in their original lined cases. I paid $60 or $65 for the lot.

Well, so ends my second monthly challenge. Have learned a lot about my DA 35 2.4AL. It is a great little lens, light, Fast(ish) and very capable. I purchased it only because it was heavily discounted with the purchase of my K5iis and am glad that I did.
I have received some great comments from everyone, thank you, although I do get a little lax on the commenting myself. Not to sure if I will continue daily in July, time constraints and all but will have to see how I go.
I have seen some fantastic images posted by many of you and some of the creativity and opportunism has left me speechless.

Well that is the end of my first ever monthly challenge. The first problem I had to overcome was subject matter, not being a creative type this was an issue. Secondly, 70mm is not a focal length that I use very often and I struggled to "see" it. The third problem was making time to get the shot and thankfully the high iso capabilities of the K5iis allowed me to get shots that may not have been possible with my other bodies.
Thankyou to all for the feedback and comments on my images, it has been most encouraging and greatly assisted in my completing the month.

Welcome. I am fairly new here myself but everyone seems friendly and supportive. Quite unusual for the internet really. There is plenty to browse and join in with, I am sure you will enjoy it here.

Unusual take on Niagra Falls. Don't believe I have ever seen it photographed like that. I really like it.

Okay at 23 days into my first challenge here is what I have noticed. - I am "seeing" my focal length better.
- I am shooting in portrait orientation much more than I usually would.
- I look for detail, colour and texture more.
- I am finding subjects / objects easier.
- I think more creatively perhaps also.
Just a few things that seem to have noticed. Also I am starting to think of a lens for next month. Maybe a M35/2, one of the 50's, Oh wait the Zenitar 16 or maybe...............

Being as my goto lens for the last 4 or 5 years has been my Sigma 10 - 20 I think I'll go with my newly acquired DA 70. That should be challenge enough let alone a picture a day.

Thanks to everyone for your warm welcomes. And yes it is starting to "cool down" a bit. Had first ice on the car windows yesterday.

G'day from Tasmania, the land under Downunder. I've used Pentax since 1998 when I purchased a Pentax IQ Zoom Ezy with 35 - 70 zoom. Now using a K100D, K10D and K5iis. I have and still do supplement my lineup with the odd Canon.
