I bought a K200D and the cheapest Tamron 70-300 just to have and use a Pentax digital camera. And the fact is that those extreme cheap Tamron lenses are performing better on Pentax bodies than they do on Canon or Nikon bodies. Reason is that the Pentax has stabilisation on the sensor, I think. Pictures are more sharp, more colourfull than on the other brands.
I have the same lens on Canon and Nikon, and I never had these sharpness in the Canon or Nikon versions.

I have my first digital Pentax. The K200D. Only the body. I have few manual lenses from the analog camera's.
So I am going to investigate what a nice AF lens will be ans until then shoot manual!

That are some incredible pictures Ivoire. The second one of your black and white is incredible, with some fantasy it is as if a Tsunami is going over land and road.

The problem is that I have only one. The Nikkon 35mm F1.8 DX. I use it on every Nikkon I have, even on The Nikon F80 and F65. Those are in fact full frame camera's.
Most of the time the lens is glued on my D7100

@scratchpaddy, you're posts remind me that I have a lot to learn, I have not made one clear shot of a moving object with the Sigma SD10 or SD15.

Incredible cool shot of the running dog.

Yeah the Porsche was not mentioned to be here, it is made with an Canon EOS D30.

I have over 60 camera's and one of my favorite modern analog camera's is the Nikon F80. As usual you can use almost all lenses on every Nikon camera. So I was curious, can you use a Nikon DX type lens (made for the DX type sensor) on a 'full frame', 35 mm camera. I have to say that I was very glad with the answer, yes you can. Not all of them, because the 18-105 gave a big black circle on the picture, the 18-55 is not usable below the 24mm.

Another disadvantage, I don't know if this is because of the camera or the firmware on the lens. If you have VR active it looks as if the battery of the camera is almost empty.

Photo's are at random.

After I brought the car om my wife to the dealer, I walk back home via road with some typical Dutch things. Here some shots of it, done with the Olympus XZ-1 compact. Used is the internal jpeg processor, so no other software used.

It is truly impossible to say which photo is the best, that is really impossible. There are so many great pictures. In so many categories. The best way to pick is to throw them on a big virtual pile and to take one on random and say that that picture won the camera. There is absolutely no intersubjective thing to choose why one is better than the other.
