Hello from the Detroit Area,
Photo Hobbyist on a budget that has had a K100d for 7 years. I came across this site looking up some old lenses including a SMC Pentax-F 50mm F1.7 which is my best lens.
I have been challenging myself to take some different photos that I have always had difficulty with. I would like to learn how to take photos of lightning, fireflies at night, fast moving objects, etc. I was able to take a few good pictures of the moon recently so this was one of my accomplishments.
I think I am nearing some of the limits of the k100d body and would love to have a newer K5 or K3 just not sure if I need that much of a camera for my abilities,
Looking forward to gaining knowledge on the forum.
