This is an excellent photo of Windows. I think this should win.

Yes, I have had to part with some excellent equipment at fire sale prices. I don't know if it is Pentax or all camera equipment.

Makes me want to go there and sit in a deck chair to watch the sun go down.

Another nice photo. The tip of the nose has a nice highlight that isn't burnt out and you can still see the detail in the hair and eyes.

I like the way the top is illuminated but you can still see the texture of the stairwell. Also the contemplative expression.

Same problem. I was hoping to squeak in before the April 30th deadline. I guess there isn't much chance they will fix this bug before it happens.

I got an email saying that I could buy a "KP e-book" for the Pentax K-3 and get some money off. Unfortunately it doesn't say how you actually do this. It says, "Be sure to visit the forum if you have any questions about your camera or the eBooks themselves."
So when you go to the forum (here) and search for KP, you get nothing. When you search for "e-book" you get nothing. Does anyone know the magic handshake to actually buy a book?

Very interesting use of negative space to frame the fireworks. Gives it a nice graphic quality.

I love the colours and the way that the right hand edge is well defined and forms a platform for the rest of the picture.

This picture is gorgeous. The boy seems to be glowing in the sunlight. I also like how the personality has been captured.

This is quite cute. It is a simple picture which exudes the comfort and safety of being a little kid.

The first thing you notice is the delicious colours. Then you see the composition, the droplet is slightly to the left. Then you notice how crystal clear the droplet is and how wonderful the bokeh is in the background. Then you see the colours on the little waves. You could print this photo stick it on the wall and never get tired of looking at it.
Delightful.
