Thanks for the input. I contacted Photomatrix, and they said that they are aware of the issue. They are currently working on it with version 4.1. It's a DNG issue, they suggest that I use Tiff or another format before sending them to the program.
-----Thanks, Jeff

I've been doing HDR on my K5 for several months now. I usually shoot 5 brackets on a tripod of course. Since I've started, I've gotten this artifact line on the right side of my processed image. When viewing the images individually, there is no artifact.
At first I thought that it was a lense issue, but the problem is on all my lenses that I've tested. So I'm guessing that it's a sensor issue. It even exists when I use the 2second pause in my bracket.
No issues when doing Brackets on my K20.
I Merge in PhotoMatix. Any Thoughts?

Was doing some shooting with it then some nice looking Whitetail Bucks came strolling through, so in my rush to switch out to my bigger lense it fell on some rocks bending the mount ring. It has to be sent in for repair, so my question is. Do I have them change the SDM motor at the same time, even though i haven't had any real trouble with the motor itself. Purchased 2 years ago so I'm assuming that it's one of the older motors?----Stoge

I sent my K20 in at the end of June and had it back by late July. Sent it Prioritity Mail and had an estimate within 3 days. The only hold up was that I was a few bucks short when the est came in, so they didn't start working on it for another week. so it was more my fault. I had a cracked dipoter, i was satisfied with the work and cleaning. it all depends on how busy they are at the time.---Stoge

I had the same problem last year. I settled on the Wimberly Universal Plate, it doesn't have the slot for the hand strap. If I'm not mistaken Markins also has a Universal Plate. One thing with the Wimberly, you have to take it off to change the battery.------Stoge

I just got Windows 7, previously had Vista. I don't have a Raw viewer to look at stored files on my external hard drive. Is there a codec for windows photo gallery? Any other suggestions for 64 bit viewing? Thanks, Stoge

I get the "You have really good equipment" statement alot from people that aren't into photography. The only real problem that I've had was at a photo club that I recently joined, where there were a couple of "Canikon Know it alls" Yapping their mouths on how their equipment is the Best. And All other brands "Suck". I spoke up an declared that I'll put my Photo's up against theirs Any Day Any Time!! A senior member of the club, who shoots Nikon, put them in their place, refering to the quality and ability of my pics!----I haven't been back!

It was from a June shoot, and I was shooting Deer and fawns. I spent 3 days in the fog wandering around. I headed to the back part of the Meadow and surprised him while he was eating. My camera was still on and the tripod was extended. I only got two exposures off before he took off. I wish that I'd gotten a better exp, but under the conditions....-----Jeff
