Yup. The better the mic I use to capture the sound the better the recording quality. Mic's are a lot like len's, the good ones cost a lot... ---------- Post added 06-30-20 at 10:01 AM ---------- As far as quality goes, you heard what I got from the video. It is good enough for me. Weather it is good enough for you is up to you. I'm not a recording artist nor do I have a budget to reflect that. It is getting better with practice but I'm in no danger of kicking Garth Brooks off his spot on the mountain.

The signal is from 2 mic's to a mic preamp to a Boss 1600CD recorder so I could add reverb, delay, and EQ and mix the two mic's. I use the headphone line out from the recorder to the K-1 mic in and recorded direct to the camera sd card and edited in Davinci Resolve. To prevent the signal from blowing out I dialed the K-1 mic level down to 1. The guitar mic is a great stage mic but not a great recording mic so I have ordered a Lauton Audio 320 to fix that. For my music video's I find the sound quality to be acceptable. So it is doable but if you want to multi track you can still use the recorder track and overdub in Davinci.

I used a silver reflector to bounce the morning light flat across the puzzle to create the highlights.

I had better lens to work with but none wide enough to get the whole falls in the frame. So the best gear is the gear you have with you again! I've never been near a falls of this volume before and it was magnificent.

Brand new k1 m11 and lens combo and I wanted to try out wifi. Nothing special for setup. I'm sitting in my chair by the window with my iPhone in hand. It is my favorite picture of me I have.

Dude! I have been all over my new camera in the last year. Bought the E book. Drank the Kool-Aid... I did not know there is a face capture mode for the camera. It's not where I would think to look in the menu but sure as hell I put the k-1 in live view and hit the AF button.... hush my puppies. : ) Thank you for pointing this out. Using my iPhone as a remote trigger is sub optimal as it is hard to hide and not look at when fireing.

First shots with the K1 mII and the 77mm I'd just gotten in the mail. Here I'm testing why the heck I would need wifi in my camera. So...this is why! I always had a bit of trouble with focus using a remote trigger but not anymore.

Thank you, I get to go back this afternoon and do a shoot with my niece and her son. As always I hope it all comes together! ---------- Post added 10-18-18 at 10:16 AM ----------
Thank you, I just read a really ridiculous article about staging a shot in nature. The photographer put a leaf on a round spot of color on a rock and a big ruckus arose about how the photo was fake since it didn't happen naturally. Since I am not a photojournalist I feel free to move the leaf around as much as it takes to make me happy. And this particular arrangement did make me happy!
