I want to buy wide lens for landscape and astrophoto so ehat you think 14mm vs 10mm?
14mm is cheaper and have better IQ

So i got Pentax 35mm 2.4 for 100$ from second hand with half year warranty, lens mint, but autofocus is soooo loud :] Is it normal? It cant be compared to my Pentax 18-135.
Also got Pentax 15mm HD, but Its for my friend, I am only testing it now :]
Now I want to get tripod + I have spare and I am looking at Samyang 14mm MF reviews and its sample looks amazing
Or I will wait for sprint to get my 15mm copy

I just bought Pentax 15mm and I need tripod for my K3.
* budget around 300USD
* panorama head
* not too heavy - i often go shooting on my bike
I have 2 recommendation - Manfrotto T 190XPRO3 + MHXPRO-3W
or
Giottos YTL9383 + Giottos 3D head MH5002

Choosing best lens for me - madness
I was determined to buy Pentax 15 limited + Da 35
Now i start to think it will be cool to have macro lens so I think about Da 35 and buying 15 limited few months later ;]

So after reading all you messages I have 1 favorite and it is 15mm
But for me I think there is one more versatile lens and it is 35mm limited HD macro, but it has F/2.8 isnt it to high for inside room fast (child) shoting? :D
Or is better for me right now buy 15mm + 35 2.4 + tripod and then 100mm macro?

I could buy Pentax 16-50 2.8 for 500$, but i read review, here on pentax forums where Sigma 17-50 won and it has almost same price.
And i think IQ of 35 and 50 primes are better than this zooms, isnt it?
Its so damn hard to choose whats best :]
I really like example photos of Pentax 15mm and I tried yesterday shot with my 18-135 with 35 and 50mm focal length and i think 35 is more usable
FA31 is way too expensive in my country ;] out of budget

Good question!
I think primary lens with better IQ (+ faster in low light as bonus)
Yeah budget is an issue I have like 1000$ max
So maybe what about
Pentax 15mm HD + Pentax 50mm 1.8?

Hi, I have over a half year Pentax K3 with 18-135 as my only lens and I am looking for new lens to buy.
I am using it mainly to shot my 10months year old daughter and shoting landscape (or party report :])
So this is a list that after like month of reading searching and asking and i can afford only 1 item:
Sigma 18-35 art
Sigma 35 art
Sigma 16-50
Pentax 35 2.8 and Pentax 50mm 1.8
Pentax 55mm
I am hasitating what to but, could anyone help me? :]

Hi,
I dont have much money right now and I am looking for cheap way to shot macro photos.
There was topics about cheap macro lens, but with no lens examples.
So I think about cheap manual prime lens with aperture ring and extension tubes (or reverse?). Is better wide or something like 50mm?
I dont want exactly to shot something, I want to try all kind of photos ;]
