Taken with K1ii + Fa20-35 at 29mm. ND1000 and 120 seconds, at sunset.
This lovely place is the "Embalse de La Sotonera", a water reservoir near Huesca, Spain.

Nope. Thats what I did in the first place, after downloading the apk with another device (compatible). Didnt work, though.
Thanks but… I found that thread only after opening this one. ---------- Post added 09-05-18 at 04:46 PM ----------
Yep, seen it. I will test it later.

Anyone care to make v1.x here available? I made the mistake of forcing the update to 2.0 on my Xiaomi phone and now it does not connect to my k1 ii.
Cheers
EDIT:
I forgot there are alternative markets to the Play Store. Here, e.g., https://ricoh-imaging-company-ltd-image-sync.es.aptoide.com/
Problem solved, I am now back to a good-old working apk!

I cannot install the official app for remote control and image transfer on my Android phone. Apparently my phone is no longer "compatible" with the updated/last version of this app (now is 2.0.0). Ricoh has realized that the last version is faulty, indeed. "We have found the symptom which some devices are not able to install ver. 2.0.0. Revised version will be released at an early date. We apologize for any inconvenience caused this time, and appreciate your patience."
I used to have no prob with the previous versions. Unfortunately, I did not make any backup copy. I am searching an older version but can't find it anywhere, all sites link to 2.0.0 in the Play Store.
Anyone has a copy willing to share??
Much appreciated.

My (next) travel kit will comprise 4 lenses. In addition to FA 31, 43 and 77, I will also bring the FA20-35/4, small and light. And a set of 58mm filters. Eventually I might leave the 31 at home, but I likely won't.

Hi! All merit goes to the Bettie Intenscreen, this one: http://www.intenscreen.com/products_35mm-format_pentax.htm
I am using model no. 82453. Which has a split-image screen with a grid. Besides it is one stop brighter than the default screen (I correct the metering by changing the film sensitivity setting). On top, I have also installed by default a o-me53 magnifier. Therefore, all in all... It is impossible not to focus right with this setup!!! To mention also that the added screen does not alter at all the AF capability.
I like the Z1p. I have two bodies, both with the plastic grip for a way better handling. One body with the aforementioned focussing screen, which makes MF a easy peasy operation. The default screen is ok but nothing special (darker, no split-image, and with that horrible panorama lines!). Also true that, lately, I am enjoying more and more to shoot with older full metal cameras with less and less automatisms. But this is a different story....

My two bodies. The one on the left is the one equipped with the Bettie screen. If you zoom in you might actually see the grid lines of the focussing screen.

I have two Z1p's, one equipped with a Beattie split field focusing screen... and manual focusing is a joy and easy as much as with e.g. a LX. Cheers

Definitely Z-1p. I bought three of them during the last two years. Paid 110 euros for a minty one, 60-70 for a nearly minty one and <50 euros for a good one. Cheers https://flic.kr/p/LSyByQ |

Actually yes it is! Just a great slr ---------- Post added 08-03-16 at 12:53 AM ----------
Sure, I will but it will take some time, though. Great feeling holding it.
The one I have is in excellent condition, with its 55/1.8 and original ever ready case. Mechanically, it looks and sounds fine. The metering works well too, though I think it overexposes by about 1 EV (I have to check it better). I have used a zinc air battery that fits in just perfectly. Light seals need to be replaced (I will do it tomorrow). I don't know how to change the mirror bumper since there apparently is no easy access to, oh well, will see. The one and only thing that I dislike is a very pale haze inside the viewfinder.
Anyhow, it is a simple camera. Full manual... but also has shutter priority programme! From 1/500 to 1/2 s, + B. Up to 800 iso and self timer.

I wonder how good old, cheap, tiny, K 24 / 2.8 performs on a K-1. I have read not too good on A7r, though not bad either. So, I am curious about the K-1. Has anyone tried it?
