I thank you all for comment. I was suspecting compatibility issue. However my SMC FA 1.4 5Omm prime lens doesn't excite the K3. BOB |

I have successfully updated my K3. Checking through the menu, I am unable to turn on 'Lens Correction' , either by Menu or Control Panel.
Is this normal - does it depend on another form of access in the menu before it is usable? Can someone advise please.

Thanks for your remarks. Have travelled to your district, however at that stage had only the MZ50 film camera. Have much video. Loved the New England, especially in the fall. ---------- Post added 20-05-14 at 09:18 PM ----------

I have been interested in photography for many years. I started with a thing called a Baldessa. Then first SLR was a Practica , then Pentax. (can't remember the model) - Slipped into digital age with K10D. I retired 10 years ago and decided to join a Camera Club and realized I knew nothing. I have progressed since then and recently upgraded to The K3. Simply brilliant. I process through Lightroom and CS5 and reckon I get some good results.
I was a banker and have progressed through the ages from hand ledgers to computers. For those interested I am also a former Australian National League Baseball Umpire.
I look forward to being involved with this forum.
