It is possible but not guaranteed.
EDIT: I bent the contacts and re-installed. SDM focusing works. I will stilly likely throw some solder on there. Still not what I would call the right part.
But hey.... can't argue with a win.

It certainly is possible, but looking into the receiving ends of both lenses also shows a different configuration as well.
I really don't know, just saying it isn't a sure thing.
I wish it was easier to buy parts.

For what it is worth... the power zoom contacts I have do not make contact with my sdm lens.
The da*300 has bent over contacts where as the PZ contacts i have a are straight.
I may try to modify them by adding some solder or something hoping to make them work.
Just a heads up to anyone hoping to hang their hat on PZ contacts fixing an sdm lens.

I definitely notice a considerable difference between my K-1ii and my K-5iis.
It only makes sense, bigger sensor, bigger screen, most of the mechanics are larger, etc.
Why would it not be power hungry?

I placed an order for a 77mm Breakthrough X4 CP fliter for my da*300mm.
No clue when I will get it, but I am looking forward to it.

This was my second day with the K1, and I was honestly just playing around with it. Lots of decent shots, but this one came together well. This is my friend Josh.
I did some light work to it in Lightroom, and I'm not really hopeful to win, this is my first time entering. This new camera just has me excited.
Shutter speed was 1/1600, I just picked the closest. Light was natural.
Thanks!

This would be the second installment of Spiders I've found in my bathtub. I took some shots with my captive subject before putting this long legged wanderer in the basement where it belongs.
The common name is Long Bodied Cellar Spider. Only a fairly large spider due to the witdh of it's stride, not really much to it. I couldn't discern the sex. Pholcus Phalangioides by Jason Gillespie, on Flickr

Thank you for the kind remarks! I've been trying to frame things better in the shot so I can crop less, this trip had lots of opportunities. Learning the lenses!

I was fortunate enough to take a trip to NOLA this past week, I stayed in the Holiday Inn off Loyola. I was on the 18th floor and spotted this little guy struttin his stuff down Loyola Ave. It was three shots and this was my favorite. CBD - NOLA by Jason Gillespie, on Flickr

I bought Eneloops for my flash and they're so good I bought more for general use as well. No more alkaline disposables.
Refresh time, general capacity, and general rechargability sold me.

Yes, it is. ---------- Post added 04-01-16 at 01:56 PM ---------- Bump, I'm not in any real hurry to sell these lenses, I apologize if that doesn't correspond to your expectation.
I'm being asked about decentering. I've never seen it in my photographs and I took some images with the 20-40 of a star chart. I honestly don't see anything. Those images are @ the flickr link.
THAT SAID... I'm not Digitalis and I don't have an optical test bench, if you would like me to perform a test for this, I'd be more than happy to take a stronger look. Let me know what you'd like to see, and within reason I'll make that happen.

Both lenses have metal mounts, thanks for the suggestion, i didn't even realize that the older version was a plastic mount.
Yep, that's a ME Super. Neat little camera, I love the massive viewfinder.
