Where to find AF contacts

It is possible but not guaranteed.

EDIT: I bent the contacts and re-installed. SDM focusing works. I will stilly likely throw some solder on there. Still not what I would call the right part.

But hey.... can't argue with a win.

This was my second day with the K1, and I was honestly just playing around with it. Lots of decent shots, but this one came together well. This is my friend Josh.

I did some light work to it in Lightroom, and I'm not really hopeful to win, this is my first time entering. This new camera just has me excited.

Shutter speed was 1/1600, I just picked the closest. Light was natural.

Thanks!

I'd only gotten my da*300 a few days earlier, so when I went to the park in the middle of winter, I was really just expecting to be the guy who brought WAY too much lens to the party.

I'd just started walking around Ferrill Lake when I saw a VERY large bird land in a tree, maybe 50 yards away. I noticed that it was white on the top and bottom... JUST as it touched down and immediately took a few shots. Over the next few minutes I just kept getting closer and closer; it was in a fairly dense tree so there were a lot of angles that just did not work. I finally came up close behind it and there was an opening. I fired off a few shots, eventually drawing its attention. I got a few other really good shots, but the one with it looking directly at me was my favorite.

Not a bad way to break in a new lens.:D

This would be the second installment of Spiders I've found in my bathtub. I took some shots with my captive subject before putting this long legged wanderer in the basement where it belongs.

The common name is Long Bodied Cellar Spider. Only a fairly large spider due to the witdh of it's stride, not really much to it. I couldn't discern the sex.

I received my first flash in the mail yesterday and was playing with it to see how it worked. So far I'm really liking it. It really helps bring out the details in these macro shots. The shots I'm getting look a lot more planned out.

This little Yellow Sac Spider has been hanging around my bathroom for the last week or two. I don't mind spiders unless they're on me, they catch the other little bugs that occasionally get in. So, this one gets shelter and I get something interactive to shoot.
