Nominated. The photo is carrying rainbow colors from cold to hot in vignette form which is very pleasing and the good composition is adding to the overall serenity and beauty and thus closest to the theme.

The photos are enchanting specially the continuity of flowing water captured by using slower shutter speeds. Keep it up.:)

The picture was shot in peak summers near Kedarnath, India, The higher rocks in the river were so hot they c'd not be touched and the rocks at lower levels were getting splashed with cold water naturally. I find this natural phenomena of hot & cold in the attached picture most suitable for the contest. The composition is quite strong giving all the ambiance balanced and focus on the dry and wet rocks.

I am 62 plus qualified in Printing Technology and a photographer at professional level and my numerous photos have been published in Ads, Magazines, Brochures, Annual Reports and Posters etc.. My first SLR camera was Pentax K-1000 bought in 1981 with which I have exposed about 3,00,000 frames and in total as on today more than its double. Being a Printing Technologist, i.e., knowing printing theoretically and practically, I am able to adjust the lighting in shadows and highlights in my pictures or the exposure so as to render maximum details in the said areas post printing, since, till little before the pictures c'd reach the masses only through print reproduction. I am happy to be member of Pentax Forum being an old owner of Pentax cameras. Had been a visiting faculty for teaching Photography to students of Bachelor & Master students of Art.
