What a great day!!!

I wanna go play with a K1 now but have not seen one in the wild yet.

Kinda hard to find one in Oregon unless you are in Portland!

I don't think I have ever seen a hand held macro shot like those and get them tack sharp.

Great capture and technique!

Love the clarity and sharpness along with the colors.

Well Done!!!

Does the gap between 17-50 and 70-200 cause you problems on your APS-C Pentax?

I have finally upgraded to the Sigma 17-50 and 70-200 this summer.

Like others have said, the gap can be taken up by a few steps forward or backwards.
I have both lenses hanging off of my BlackRapid Double strap with the K7 and K20 bodies.

Both lenses are a bit heavy when they are hanging off me at the same time.

I really like the results I have gotten from both lenses so far and do not regret the purchase at all.
Good Luck!

Spring is almost here, but not quite

Spring is almost here, but not quite cause we are still having snow and ice in Oregon very close to the floor of the Willamette Valley. This is a Pansy blossom that was covered in frozen dew particles, I waited until the light was just right before I was able to shoot this. It was worth the wait
