So, my K-50 got stolen in the Paris Métro (my own stupid fault for falling asleep next to the exit with a nice-looking bag casually posed at my feet... at 11pm... in a near-empty carriage...). Having overcome the grief of losing my companion since ten years, along with my favourite lenses (FA-43/1.9 and F-28/2.8), I went out hunting for replacements. A pristine KP crossed my way for only 450€, I jumped on the occasion and now I'm a much happier camper. Pictures from a flash visit to Rome with DA35/2.8 Limited.

Just couldn't help myself getting another Super-Tak 50/1.4 8 elements recently. The poor thing was priced way too low...
And, just out of curiosity a D-FA 50/2.8 Macro. Don't regret that one, despite the plastic. It's really superb.

Or a slightly wider FA43 Limited? ;)
My only gripe with the Ultron is that the focusing ring is a bit to wide, and that it could have been just a tad more dampened. It's silky smooth allright, but it often gets turned just by going in and out of the bag. Othervise I'm an absolute fan.

I got my battered 13-blades Гелиос 44 (M39) for 30€ including shipping, a 44K-4 for 18€ attached to an unused Zenit 122K in its stylish Soviet camera bag... There's heaps on €bay, even some good deals if you search around a bit.

A couple of spring shots from late April with 43mm Limited on K-50.
The camera has developed aperture motor failure, so it's all manual aperture mode.
EXIF says f/0, but it was more like f/1.9...:lol:
