Hi Everyone,
I know its not the right place to ask this question, but as we share the medium format photos so I thought to ask this question here. I only use prime lenses on my 645z and have lenses from 25mm to 300mm. I am planning to buy a couple of zooms in budget; as of now I have only came across 33-55, 45-85, 55-110 and 80-160mm lenses in the budget as the newer zooms are quite expensive. If you have to buy two zooms just to fill up your range what would you go for keeping in view their sharpness, build quality and overall functionality. Btw, I only use 645z for landscapes and cityscapes. Looking forward to suggestions.

Splendid Images, what a great effort. ---------- Post added 01-07-21 at 11:36 PM ----------
Thank you very much. Among all the lenses 6x7 I own, the 200mm is my fav amongst all. Its tact sharp and also not very much heavy to handheld.

Such a stunning shot. Makes me wonder how much effort you did in pulling this off. Its surely not an image that one sees every now and then.
Superb

Oops. This is surely a disaster. I have actually two of these lenses, both are different in their construction. The one that I have used looks a modern design to me probably the last of the batch produced for 6x7. The other one looks different, I will take some photos of both and will share. ---------- Post added 12-14-20 at 07:43 AM ----------
Exactly. I have used many old Pre AF Cameras and focusing was easier; doing manual focusing now on modern cameras due to viewfinders mainly is a pain.
Thanks for liking the portrait. ---------- Post added 12-14-20 at 07:47 AM ----------
Agreed too. Things are different with the AF and how companies design the lenses now for the modern cameras. But trust me when we have to fine tune the focus in a shot, its pain getting it right. On this Fall trip, I was using a sony a7r4 as well and for night shots getting the accurate focus would take a lot of time. I felt either I have grown older or my eye sight is no longer helping me.

The Autumnal Portrait by Yasir Nisar, on Flickr
Shot using Pentax 645z and 200mm F4 lens
While shooting portraits I realized focusing manually is so difficult, may be due to lack of practise or we are no longer used to shooting portraits with Manual lenses. I found the lens sharp once it has achieved the focus and beep confirms on the camera. A very different experience just like the good old days of shooting Medium format.

The place I was standing was giving a good view of the mist/fog on the city as well as the clarity on the mountains; so i preferred shooting with a GND so as to add a bit of drama.
I tried it once its fine but it gets noise if you push excessively. I am the old school guy who prefers to do effort while shooting than spending hours in post.

I love the autumnal hues and 645z is one of the fav choices to shoot that from. Though its quite difficult carrying this beast travelling and hiking but the end results make you a happy man.

Thanks for elaborating the process. Which tool you use for that, StarStax or PS. I have to try that someday on my 645z.
