I have the same issue, my camera has never been dropped. Problem comes and goes, seems like I am fine as long as I keep the original lens on it, both of the Tamron for Pentax lenses send it into a frenzy. I have seen many reports of this in internet search results. That problem is what brought me to the forum.

New to DSLR, but feel in love with the power and beauty of photography when I was about 9. Have owned almost every brand of camera known to North America. My kids are grown now so I am getting back in touch with one of my first loves. Excited about being a part of the community. I have a Pentax K-r.
