 You must be a very sensitive man - what is a beautiful characteristic of artists.
YESSSS ... I admit - mea culpa, mea culpa maxima ... In spite that I mentioned your nick in my second comment I forgot extremly to point out the contribution of yours. I just didn't think of that (for you) very important point of view. I apologize with all my heart - it will not happen again!

@ Class A
I just found out how to get ideal photo:
I have to combine two of them:
one with & other without astro-tracker.

Downside of Astro-tracker:
stars are sharp, but other motionless objects in photo are not.
 PC Magazine
Any solutions?

By Pentax K20D is pretty easy to use MF lenses & taking photos is almost quck as with AF. I found that "bug" in my photocamera accidentally.
When I put on my K20D Pentax M 50mm/f2 without adapter (!), I swich back from MF on AF (!!), than I hold shutter down & I moove focus ring to get the proper sharpness - when opbject is sharp I see a little light in viewfinder & than happens a mirracle: photocamera automaticly takes photo with MF lenses ... even a few of them if I want continuous shooting. It stops when I release the shutter or turn focus ring on lenses. With a little exercise it works realy quick. The same joke is with Pentax MF 150mm/f3,5 ... so taking photos is simple: by holding shutter down, I take photos with focus ring on lenses. :) :) :)
The main question: does Pentax K3 & K3 II have the same option/bug?? |

Very important
If you get old but perfect Pentax MF-lens, you can use them almost as AF-lens
I just want to tell you about simple trick by using MF lens on Pentax,
if you want to take photos wery fast .. almost so fast as with AF.
- put MF lenses on camera - switch on AF (!!!)
- keep the trigger down
- turn focus ring to get the right sharpness
- camera will not take photo until centre is sharp
- when you get the best sharpness, camera automaticcaly takes a photo
With a little practice you can shoot almost fast as with AF by AF-lenses ...
