Nope, we won't see FF.
At least this year.
We will see DFA 645 25/4.0 in spring and maybe some portrait 645 lens in autumn-winter.
And maybe (if we are lucky) we will see new flashes (replacements for 360 and 540).
We won't see FF because:
1) Pentax/Hoya has no will to do this
2) There are no official FF lenses. No 24-80/2.8 and no 70-200/2.8.

No.
Because LX5 has 1/1000 limit for shutter speed when aperture is < 4.0. And 1/4000 when aperture is 4.0 or smaller (> 4.0).
This means it is a classic leaf shutter.
Electronic shutter is used in LX5 for video. Not for photo.

We'll see.
I guess yes (it will cover film 645 frame)... in P and Tv modes.

Again, red SDM logo indicates that lens is SDM-Only (55/2.8 is too) :)

You are guys talking about HSS.
But we are talking of normal sync.
Not any. Flash needs time to react and light-up.

I know that. :)
This was one of the reasons why I bought LX5, not s95 (no hot-shoe).
But I was reffering to the fact that Pentax flashes can sync at speeds higher than 1/180.

Camera allows to make different adjustment for lenses with different LensID's.
You can check them here: Pentax Tags
Rows like this:
'8 255' = Sigma Lens (8 255)
'8 255.1' = Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG Macro HSM II
'8 255.2' = Sigma APO 150-500mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM
'8 255.3' = Sigma 50-150mm F2.8 II APO EX DC HSM
indicate same lens id (8 255) for three lenses.

Btw.
360 FGZ flash can do 1/1000 in A mode when mounted on my LX5.
It can do something like 1/640 when mounted via cable.
And it can do 1/320 when triggered using Yongnuo RF-602 radio triggers (canon version) mounted on LX5.

Filename's case is not affecting because FAT32 is case insensitive file system.
What it might have effected - MFT. Some index was updated and corrected previous error which occured while coping

1) First of all - bad parameters changing. Very hard to turn with one finger control ring. And not fast usable push button to cycle through all parameters when using in M or A mode.
2) Settings (at least selected mode) are reset when poweroff. (this is most evil and bad)
3) Batteries door is very cheap and unreliable.
4) Instead of dusk blurry red SB AF assist lamp, why not to use bright sharp red laser grid? (like in some sony cameras)
5) No color gels support
6) No WR
7) only 85mm at long end.
8) Additional power supply does not work with AA batteries.
9) in wireless mode you can not control Flash EV remotely.
PS: I wanna see flash competiting with Nikon's SB-900

Does anyone have some rumors of updates for Pentax flashes?
I'm asking because current 360 FGZ and 540 FGZ are quite old, they aren't WR and they have not good controls.
I would like to see 580 FGZ WR flash with color gels support and more flexible menu.

Can you read official instructions?
PS: No you don't. It's like installing new version of operating system from scratch.

What I know is that it is fully functional copy of K10D without popup flash electronics.

You guys miss very important thing - such large amount of points is needed for AF-C 3D tracking. Also their data is used when autofocusing in AF-S mode.

I don't need FPS more than 5.
Especially if we consider AF-C, then I doubt K-5 will do rumored 8 fps.
K-7 for example does only 3-4 fps when in AF-C.

I dont' know now, why should I buy K-5 for higher price with same or worse specs (like AF points). Hmmm.
Especially considering fullframe camera for wife (weddings, studio, portraits etc.) and need for good flash system.
:(
Pentax. why? Why you torture us?

Photos are unsharp because of large pin-hole.
Make the hole smaller 3-5 times, and you'll get sharp images.
