OK, OK, I'll get an adapter.
My post processing is no better than the K3's. With RAW+ I can keep the RAW for future generation pentaxians and just let the K3 do the post-processing for me. No film = no dark room. No RAW = no lightroom. No back log :-)

I have is two Super Takumars: 1:1.8/55 and 1:3.5/135, not in mint condition. I don't have an adapter. I love my FA 50/1.4 and very much doubt the Takumar would be an improvement.
I have a Tamron zoom I don't like, so might give the 135 a chance if anyone can convince me it's worthwhile :-)

I've decided not to increase the back log of films I should at some point digitize, but I did use the camera as a kid. We're about the same age the Spotmatic and I so I understand what you say.

and second generation pentaxian, still keep my dad's Spotmatic as a fond memory.
I mostly take pictures of my kids but would, if time permitted, do more street. And landscape. And macro. But not sports.
My current favourite gear, besides my K3, is a Velbon Maxi Mini D tripod.
