Night photography need not be a "Nightmare" to compose, here is a basic tip that may make the world of difference for your night photography results.
If you wantthe best night shots you need to shoot in the best image quality, and thatmeans RAW. By shooting in RAW your images will retain the most ‘information’,which gives you greater scope for enhancing your shots in Adobe Camera Rawand other raw-processing software.
RAW isespecially beneficial when taking night shots as it gives more flexibility whenyou want to change things such as colour temperature(or White Balance) or accurately increase (brighten) or decrease (darken) yourexposures. |

Hi All Pentax Forum Members,
I just wanted to give a quick introduction to myself.
Currently I am the proud new owner of a Pentax K5II-S.
I have been a big Pentax fan for many years already with my first Pentax camera being a classigue Pentax ES2 SLR Film Camera
with auto light meter that I inherited from my farther when I was still young.
At that stage I was amazed with the fantastic quality pictures that this old Camera could take and even used it on a trip to Paris France where it once again amazed myself and friends with the beautiful colour pictures that I managed to take with it of different museums, Eiffel Tower etc. on this trip.
I have still got this camera today however there is one small Part that failed on it and is unfortunately not available from Pentax any more.
Since than I started working for Toyota and have had privilege of visiting Japan several times over the last few years.
I used each opportunity to look at the newest Pentax ranges and also bought quite a few new Digital (Point and shoot) camera's (A10, A30 etc.) whilst I was in
Japan.
At this I am staying in Zambia temporarily and will be returning to my home country South Africa shortly.
Zambia have got beautiful Nature Reserves with great opportunity's for Photographer's and I have already built up some stunning pictures with the K5II-S.
Looking forward to many years of great photography to come with my new Pentax.
Regards:
CoisK5II-S
