Thanks for the welcome people, makes one feel a lot more involved already!
Also thanks Ross and Jono, will look into the NZ thread!
On a cheeky side note, if anyone is selling a Super/SMC/Super multi coated 50mm 1.4/f Pentax lens that is compatible with Canon I may well be interested. To add to that, a wide angle lens and also perhaps a Tamron as they look like interesting lenses.

I come from the wonderful New Zealand!
I am quite new to the whole photography scene but am rocking a canon 7d. Have heard good things about pentax lenses so have signed up to find out more!
