More video-oriented 360 camera, this is what was needed.

No, noone never demanded for FF camera in my entire career, and I shoot RE for more than 5 years. Honestly, my clients do not care what gear I'm using as long as I deliver.
This is a wonderful lens, my favourite!
Me too!

As I do real estate photography, here is one of my recent shots, K-3 III + Pentax DA* 11-18/2.8

16-35/4 would be a great addition to the full frame lineup, something similar to DA* 11-18/2.8

If the rumours stating that they have exchanged patents with Olympus are true (their SR system for video codecs), we should receive a massive overhaul of K-3 III's video capabilities (for which I have my fingers crossed).

Are they going to expand K-3 III capabilities via firmware upgrade? If so it seems their strategy was to release it being 'as good as it is' and then work on the features. Also, this approach indicates that the body is far more capable (has future-proof tech) of what it represents now.

In my opinion they hurt their sales a lot by not implementing a tilt screen in the K-3 III. As I'm a real estate photographer I would love to purchase a body with a decent 4k, without the crop and with a tilt screen. Currently I own K-3 (gen 1) and despite that the body delivers what I want every time I consider an upgrade. Is K-3 III for me? Perhaps, the price is not an issue, but the overall bag rather is.

Well, I thought that they will increase bitrate in video. 56Mbps in Z1 is the same value as in Theta V. Too bad. But the RAW capability is very welcome.

This price is affordable, good that (perhaps) Ricoh won't charge much for revamped glass.

Because it was released in 1990, therefore it must be under development in late 80' ;)

I think I have been called to reply to this. Probably You haven't photographed any situation, when silent AF is needed, for example a wedding, theathre and cetera. Of course, You can have any screw drive lens You want but You don't change the fact that is ancient tech in terms of modern technology. ---------- Post added 01-29-19 at 03:43 PM ----------

It is not negativity - it's concern. I will just point out that we already have revamped 35 mm glass and it is HD Pentax-D FA 645 35/3.5 AL [IF] for medium format. And yes - it is screw driven.
