When shooting I am more aware of post production adjustments. Yes, it's always best to capture the required scene at the point of shooting, but knowing that exposure, cropping and colour can be altered afterwards increasingly results in me shooting in what would be otherwise hopeless conditions.

My simple advice- which I don't always follow- is to check your settings ahead of every session; RAW or jpeg?, a general ISO- say 400, auto pict., and give the focus and zoom ring a twist back and forth. Then alter them for you shots you want. Many a time I've started shooting using the settings from the previous session

I'm having the same problem with this card in a K200D. The card works ok in a more recent Canon, but even after formatting it in a WIN7 machine it still returns memory card error when I try to format it in the camera. I've also updated the Pentax software to v1.1
All I can think of is finding some one with a more up to date Pentax to format it for me and then put it in my camera.
Any other suggestions gratefully received
